: Our tank drips water from the top down on the outside of the tank. It has a liner. What is the cause?I assume since you say liner youre refering to a toilet tank. If the flush valve ball/flapper is allowing water to leak through, then the constant refilling of tank would over ride the insulation value of the liner. check the ball or flapper and also check the ballcock refill tube that is attached to the flush valve overflow riser for any water flow.
