: Our hallway bathroom has a leak underneath the bathtub. Water seems to be seeping from underneath the tub onto the floor in the bathroom as well as out in the hallway after use – the end of the tub shares the wall with hallway. The tub is surrounded by tile work and large areas of the tiles are bulging in places around the tub. Can this be from old caulking and the water seeping through or do I have a more serious problem? Kindy advise. Sounds like a more serious problem. you must have a tile board like sheetrock behind the tiles. unless you know how to tile, you should contact a professional. your problem needs to be looked at first hand.
