: icemaker makes stale tasting ice and chilled water. replaced connection hose from copper tubing to refrigerator and inline filter. have made two complete loads of ice, still tastes bad.Have you checked the refrigerators water holding tank for deposit build up. Ours is a light plastic material you can see through to check for this. Perhaps this is the cause since youhave already replaced the line and filter. The holding tank delivers water to the ice tray and door water dispensor by a line within the refrigerator.
