: : Im installing faucets around my home. I have a 1.5 service main from the city with 50lbs pressure. I plan on coming up from the main with 3/4 PVC and installing 2 hosebibs or sillcocks on each piece of 3/4. Two questions: 1. On any given piece of the 3/4, can I run both sillcocks at the same time without a noticeable drop in flow rate/pressure? : : 2. What is the total number of sillcocks/hosebibs that I can run at the same time on the entire system without any noticeable decrease in pressure/flow?: : Im planning on using 3/4 sillcocks/hosebibs.: : Thank you!!Sir no place in your question did you bother to ask about back flow protection. If you should get back syphonage you are putting your entire family at risk. To give you an accurate answere you will have to know how many developed lenth of feet (friction losses). Friction losses plus 2.31 x height to give you approx. Height this water will go. What effective opening is each out side hose bibb? How many 90 degree bends. What other fixtures are taken off the supply feeding this branch? Are you taking this supply pipe off the run or bull of the tee. Did you calculate the velocity of the water traveing though this sysyem? Did you look at the manufacturers specifications as to max hydrolic shock waves (water hammer)At what height did you plan on installing your approved vacuum breakers? What type of vacuum breakers were you planning to install? Are these hose bibbs going to be protected from freezing? Once you have all these questions answered then a logical answere can be determined.. Or get a professional PLUMBER to do it. Respectifully SylvanLMP
