: Please advise as to removal of rust from the bottom of the toilet bowl. Scrubbing does not work. I have some muratic acid, but I am unsure as how to use it in this capacity. VERY CAREFULLY–it will do the job but wear eye and skin protection. pour a little in and with long handle bowl brush swish around. then flush and repeat if necessary. Do not leave it in bowl too long as it will etch glazed surface and youll be cleaning every time you turn around.
