It appears that you have either kinked the little rubber tube or it is not inserted into the overflow pipe.: I replaced the valve assy in the tank because the old one had a bad diaphram : and now when the toilet is flushed the bowl doesnt empty out all the way I have to use a glass of water to get the water completely out of the bowl
