: We just had our water tested and found that the Iron content is 3ppm and hardness is rated at 14 (is this ppm?). I am wondering what setting to use for Lbs of salt, and how often to regenerate. Our softner is a 25,000 grain model. ThanksIf you take your water to a Sears store, they can test the water and advise on a steeing in 3 minutes.
