You would have to specify the brand. It could be American Standard, Villeroy and Bosch, or Mansfield and each disassembly is different.: Water leaks from the tank to the bowl via a leak in the stopper. The stopper is a plastic tubular unit with a rubber plug affixed to the bottom that for some reason has ceased to seal the opening. Does the stopper come off? How does the plastic unit disconnect from the base?
