Bud…: Bud, What is a dip tube? I does look like we are not getting H20 to the tank, but we think it is the main value at the top of the heater. The value handle just spins, feels like it is stripped out. We are going to replace that and the pop off valve that bewl out and see what happens. Thanks, I am glad that there is someone out there that can help.Wendy, I believe that valve handle is suppose to spin around…to make it work, you lift it up until it is standing on end…you will hear a rush of water when you do that…I was told that that is used to relieve that vacuum in the heater for when you drain it as an example.
