Bud…: Bud, What is a dip tube? I does look like we are not getting H20 to the tank, but we think it is the main value at the top of the heater. The value handle just spins, feels like it is stripped out. We are going to replace that and the pop off valve that bewl out and see what happens. The dip tube routes the incoming cold water down to the bottom of the water heater.Bill
