: Effective is one thing, economical is another. In order to heat without a tank, you either have to increase the heat (amperage), or reduce the water flow. Since the first option can require a very large wire size and corresponding electric service supply, which can become very expensive to install. And the heater has to be in the proximity to all the usage to make it a practical consideration. The only other way to do it is to reduce the flow to a point where the available power can heat properly and that often causes other problems during usage as multiple demands are made on the limited water available. : : I have a 900 sq ft house — one bath, washer/dyrer, dishwasher, and two adults. Are there any electric tankless hot water heaters that have proven effective? Thanks
