Did the new flapper have a ring to go around the overflow pipe, and id os did you put it over the pipe and also connect the two ears to the flapper? If so, then take it out, cut off the ring on both sides where it says CUT and put it back on using just the two ears.: Any suggestions on a toilet that when lever is depressed does not flush unless you hold it? Installed a new flapper; could it be wrong one? Thanks, FJB
