: I am ready to install a new toilet in a new downstairs bathroom. The floor is concrete. I plan on tiling the floor with standard size tile. : The sweep that was installed by the builder is a lead sweep. What kind of toilet flange should I buy for this application and how do I : secure it to the floor? Also should I install the flange over the tiles or directly on the : concrete and tile around the flange? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated since it is holding up the : completion of the job. Thanks in advance.: Tim A metal flange should be used, secured to the concrete floor with 1/4 concrete anchors, and then tiled to the flange.Terry Love
