: How do I get the drain plug out of the tub? It does not have a lever to raise it up and down. It is the type that you push to close, pull to open? It is draining very slow and I would like to clean it out? Thank you.Bill,If the tub drain plug is on the bottom of the tub, (the drain) Normal working would either be push, push or push, pull.To clear a tub drain, remove the upper plate (overflow) and snake the drain for hair (etc,)Regards, Terry Love
