Always check the easiest things first. Could be a number of things, but your tank could be waterlogged, means lost all its air pocket inside which is what actually maintains your pressure fairly evenly during usage. Listen at the tank carefully while someone else turns on a faucet. Does the pump kick on right away? If so, you need to drain the tank at least 1/2 way down and get some air into the tank so the incoming water can compress it and give you a pressure cushion. Hope this helps! Jim Morse in Korea: : : I have a well with a submersible pump and my water line runs under my house and into a presurized tank. Our water has never had the pressure I feel it should have but lately is has gotten much worse. While running water the force will get stronger for a while then weaker for a while. I dont think the problem is the pump but then again, Im not a plumber so Im not sure. I feel it has something to do with the water tank. If it is possible to correct the problem myself, I would certainly like to save the money.: : Any suggestions on how to get the water pressure up? Sometimes the water slows to a trickle now and that makes taking a shower, doing the laundry or anything a problem.: : Thanks for any help and advice…………David: David, : It could very well be the expansion tank. : If the check valve and expansion tank are working well, there should be pressure
