: What are the advantages / disadvantages of getting a precast terrazzo shower base versus a lead pan shower base? We are remodeling a bathroom and need to choose. Thanks. Ron and PatThe terrazo pan can be very heavy. We installed one pan that took four men to carry it upstairs. As I get older I appreciate more and more the mud-set pans that that are lined.
