: The wallboard behind the tile of the shower/bath is getting wet. I have replaced all of the fixtures and half *** fixed the tile by cutting out a piece of wallboard and gluing the tiles to this. It looks like a do-it-yourselfer job for sure.: Would like to use the cement board? How do you cut this board to fit around the fixtures and what do I need to make the tiles adhere to this?: MICMic, the process involved in cutting the cement board is one of using a powered electric saw or using what is loosly called a Fibro Cutter. This tool is hand operated and has jaws that fit either side of the fibro sheet and the material is punched out by bring the handles of the tool together. Either way you will need an adhesive to do the job of holdiong the tiles on and I would suggest that you visit the hardware store and asked your friendly and informed salesperson for the correct one. For a job that should be first class then I suggest that you use a wall and flooor tiler. Regards Colin
