For the past month or so, there has been a terrible odor that comes up through the shower drain and sink in my back bathroom. This bathroom is back-to-back with my utility room. The odor only comes up into the bathroom while I’m washing clothes in the utility room washer. This odor is SO bad that we have to close the bathroom door and open the window. The odor does not occur in the other bathroom nor in the kitchen. I do not have a septic tank; I’m on the city sewer system. I’d appreciate any help you could give me. Could someone please help me?
