Shut off the water to the house at the pressure tank. If the pressure falls, then the leak is on the well side of the tank. If not check toilet tanks for the proper water level, one inch below the top of the overflow tube. Then add a few drops of food coloring in the tank and over 30 minutes or more look for food coloring in the bowl.

If the leak is on the well side, adding a check valve at the top of the well or at the pressure tank will help for a time but is not fixing the problem which won’t get better with time. Yo really should pull the plubing from the well and inspect things. If you don’t find the leak, then it’s between the well and the house. Finding leaks in the drop pipe can be tricky if you have PE tubing and the best way is to pressurize the line.
