You can install a check valve right before the pressure tank. IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE to find out where the water is draining. You could have a leak in the supply pipe that feeds the house. If this is the case every time the pump goes off contaminates can enter the system.

1. Check valve at the pump is failing
2. Pin hole or crack in drop pipe
3. Leak in supply pipe
4. Water logged bladder tank
