I do not routinely use gold plating in my plumbing work. However, I do have a lot of “gadgets” in my shop. One of them is a “pen plating” apparatus that I bought a few years ago at a jewelers supply outfit. I have used this gadget to re-plate some antique faucets with wear marks on them. It is certainly not routine work. Go on the internet and places like e-bay, and see what comes up when you querie “pen plating.”
