Dick John. I see by your posting to Marcia Charles that you are an ethical Plumber. What you need to do is to call in another Plumber, to find out if you have installed the Insinkerator correctly. Its great to save money by doing your own plumbing & then ask Plumber’s how to fix a problem aint it!
