: The wallboard behind the tile of the shower/bath is getting wet. I have replaced all of the fixtures and half *** fixed the tile by cutting out a piece of wallboard and gluing the tiles to this. It looks like a do-it-yourselfer job for sure.: Would like to use the cement board? How do you cut this board to fit around the fixtures and what do I need to make the tiles adhere to this?: MICTo cut the concrete board score it with a drywall knife then bend it and cut the other side. To cut holes in it use a drill with a masonary bit to outline your hole then cut it with a drywall saw. As for glueing the tile to it, use a good epoxy type tile mastic that is approved for use on Duroc or Wonderboard.
