: I have a faulty seat in the hot foucet in the bathtub and I cant remove it. Any suggestions??? Please help In most cases, a seat wrench will extract the seat, unless the opening in the seat is stripped. If it is stripped, you may be able to use a easy-out to remove the seat (if you can find on that small)
: I have a faulty seat in the hot foucet in the bathtub and I cant remove it. Any suggestions??? Please helpI had the same problem but, I solved by buying a screw extractor from Sears for about 3 bucks. Real easy to use. Just insert into seat and the extractor will bite into the sides of the seat without damage to threads. These are also called EZ outs by some. Just get the approx. size when you go to the store.Good Luck, Jim
