I replaced the heating elements in my electric hot water heater, after it was replaced, our water just keeps turning off, it is not possible that we are out of water, as it happens right when the water is turned on. I wonder if we got air in the lines, as we didnt leave the hot water spouts on when we drained the water heater, or possibly the electrical on off switch?
We get the same problem, only we have not done any plumbing work lately. It used to only be on the cold a bit, but now we can barely use the hot (bathroom works fine!) It makes a rat-a-tat-tat noise that shakes the floor!!! Someone please help!!!

Do you have a private (well) water system? What do you mean by water running out? Do you have a good flow of unheated water from the hot side, do you have good flow from the cold side?
