Sears water softener

: My Sears water softener keeps showing a error code Err03 Defective face plate. Ive replaced the face plate, but still doing same thing. May run fine once then go to the error 03. Seem to hangup at the fast rinse. It I unplug it to clear error it will run around to the same spot and hang again now. So anybody have any ideas.DUH contact SEARS? Amazing When My Mercedes needs work I dont think my GMC guy has the right parts. Would you buy a Dodge and bring it to BUICK for parts? Why didnt you have the decentcy of calling a local Licensed Plumbing contractor BEFORE you decided to try it yourself? TSK TSK

I would like to recieve soft water from the softener than bills for not fixing it. TSK TSK Ive been doing plumbing, heating, a/c for 30 years. The control boards are not much differant than ones on boiler or a/c, all do self test and give you a error code to look up in the service manual. Which can be as much of a pain to fix as this softener has been.
