I just designed/built my own steam humidifier out of, among other things, ABS pipes & fittings. There is steam going through these pipes. Am I going to be breathing in toxins and carcinogens? If so, (a) what should I have used, (b) Ive already been exposed for an hour. Is that bad?Charles

Unless it is very low or no pressure or well supported, the piping is going to soften and sag.
