Upper Thermostat

There are three different ways to wire an upper thermostat, and the directions should be with it for yours. The most common modern wiring method is the lower left terminal to the upper element, the lower left terminal to the bottom element, the second wire from both elements connect to the screw on the right side below the energy cutoff button. The two main wires go to the two top teminals.: We have bought a Preferred parts upper thermostat, could you please tell us how to hook up the wiring ? Thank you for your help.
