I have been told my drainfield is no longer working properly. It needs to be replaced or rejuvinated (tera-lift). Which is my best option? Thanks for any replies!

Thanks for any replies!Hello, what type of property do you have, is it rural with a lot of land available or is it a house size block say quarter acre in the old measurement. This has a bearing on how you would have to make it ok again. On a rural property ylou can jus tmove the location and extend the pipes to the new location. On an existing site you can dig in pliable loam or a good course sand and mix it all up with a fork, hoe or small trenching machine. You might at the same time look at your water usuage and the appliances that you ar running within your home. You can get a reid which is part of the Japanese systems and this reid will sit in the water below ground in your trenches and at the same time allow water to evaporate to the atmosphere. works well in Sweden and Japan. The bottom line is that you have to think this through, based on land type, neighbours, access to your property and the range of service that is available to you where you live. I know that I have asked as many questions as i have given answers but this is what you would expect of a good tradesperson. All the best Colin
