Im having problems getting dishes clean. We moved into this house with no manuals. Its a Jennair. We do have hard water here.Could it be the supply at the hot water line being clogged up?Also ther seems to be alot of soap build up,could this be from not enough water pressure?Any help would be appreciated.

Soap buildup is usually caused by the water not being hot enough. After the washing cycle starts, open the door and see if the soap door has opened. If it hasnt opened, check to see when it does open during the cycle by opening the door and checking it. Occasionally the element that opens it gets weak and does not let the sopa out until the end of the wsh cycle just before rinsing starts.: Im having problems getting dishes clean. We moved into this house with no manuals. Its a Jennair. We do have hard water here.Could it be the supply at the hot water line being clogged up?Also ther seems to be alot of soap build up,could this be from not enough water pressure?Any help would be appreciated.

Remove the filter inside the bottom area and look for food or broken pieces of china or glassware. Also remove the spinner check if any food, kernels, or pieces of aluminum foil are caught in the spinner. Make sure the spinner turns and rotates freely. This allows the washing action to spray water onto the dishes during the wash cycle. Also remove the air gap device cover (installed between the dishwasher drain and the garbage disposer) this sometimes gets clogged and does not let all the water completley exit the dishwasher. Also dishwasher soap is available when your source water is extra hard.Write the manufacturer and get the proper maintenance booklet for your unit.
