Sump pumps

My submersible sump pump goes on 3 times a minute is very noisy and then it usually burns out every Mar/Apr causing me to go into 3 feet of cold water in my dirt basement, pull the plug and replace it. Is there a way to eliminate it if I dig into the wet weather spring and anchor a hose or pvc pipe to catch the trickle and then tie it into the septic pipe rather than dig a whole under the house? I cant afford the $300 commerical so I have the top residential unit. Thank you.
