I need to replace the fibergalss combination shower/tub in the master bath. I would rather build a custom shower only. A friend told me that for a shower only the drain needs to be 2 inner diamter pipe. Is this true? I think the whole house only has 1.5 pipes. Is this something I need a permit for?thanks for any advice brian
