        Im reasonably handy. Should I consider replacing the tank myself? Can the existing pressure relief valve be used on the new tank? Any helpful hints? Thanks.

              If it is a gas water heater, it is supposed to be installed 18 above the floor, on a platform or stand.: Im reasonably handy. Should I consider replacing the tank myself? Can the existing pressure relief valve be used on the new tank? Any helpful hints? Thanks.
