Have a crack/busted waterline in between street and my house with water standing in middle of my front yard. Meter to house is probably 50 feet. Water confined to 1 particular area. This is second time. House build in 1983 and waterline is definitely pvc; possibly the ill-fated quest piping. Not sure. Anyhow, should I dig and repair myself or call the professional in and consider replacing entire length knowing its a matter of time before this happens again? Appreciate your advice. Leak is slow, but I must do something about it tomorrow, for sure. thanks bsink

If it is white, then it is PVC and can be easily repaired. If it is blue, then it is PB and should be replaced.: Have a crack/busted waterline in between street and my house with water standing in middle of my front yard. Meter to house is probably 50 feet.
