Could be a weak thermocouple, is the end of the t-couple smooth. Is the flame hitting the last 1/2 to 3/8s of an inch of the thermocouple? You can check the millivolt output of the t-couple with a volt meter set to dc volts, if output is lower than 20 millivolts replace thermocouple, or adjust the flame position……Lou
