I was wondering if someone could tell me a good way to flush the water deposits out of my electric water heater. They build up past the drain at the bottom and the only way I have found is to remove the drain fitting and poke at the deposits till I get through to the water. Then I have a flooded basement.The deposits have built up past my lower element and shorted it out AGAIN! Please feel free to e-mail me with any advice.Im going to have to tackle the problem this weekend. One way or another. :[
