We are just getting started in outdoor furnaces and are looking for
supliers. Poly B. seems to be the choice in the past but as I’m sure u
are aware of the problems in the U.S.. I noticed u are not recomending
its use for heat circulation above about 100F I thought specs were much
higher? what would u recomend. some of our installations may run as high
as 180F.Thanks in advance for any help u can give

many negative stories of poly B. Could you tell

me what the real problem was in the US.I am also from Canada and have just recently
found out that my 4-5 year old house has Poly B.
plumbing. I spoke to a gentleman at who was one
of the first to get poly B. plumbing. He even had
cameras filming when this was installed. After
about 4 years, all the hot water tubes started
to spring leaks.
He was part of the class action law suit in the states.
He received $13,000 (US) to have all his plumbing
re-installed in his house. He said it was a mess.
He also thought that their might be a class
action law suit going on right now out of Calgary, AB.
I’m trying to get some info on this.
Please advise is anyone knows anything about
this.

We recently had our boiler go down and I am hearing the reason is the Poly B in the upper floor. We need to put in a new system but as you can appreciate, the Poly-B is installed and we have a finished basement. Is there some additive we can put in the water to correct the problem.
