pilot light problem

        Hello, Ive got a sime bolier with a strange pilot light problem. The pilot light will only light if the front cover to the pilot light is removed, once i put the cover back on it wont light!

        Any ideas what this problem could be please?

          Check the pressure venting out to the safety valve. Check for the pipes if it is discharging water outside. As I know, there must be the problem with the pressure. If you don’t find the exact reason, I would suggest you to call a plumber who can find out the problem and get it repaired.

            Is the “spark lighter” that lights the pilot burner tracking out on the metal front removable cover when you replace the panel if so this would explain your problem.

              The wire lead to and from the sparker I am referring to.
