Help! Cannot get rid of a gurgling noise that now occurs after the sump pump is finished cycling. This began after we installed a back-up system (Ace in the Hole). We added another check valve just above the backup, but that didn’t help. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did you drill a hole in the pipe above the male adapter that screws into the main pump?
It should be about a 1/8″ hole and within 6″ of the adapter.
This prevents the pump from “locking and lets water drain back out of vertical pipe from check valve.
