How difficult is this to do?Is it just a matter of turning off the gas and installing a cap on the pipe? Do I have to turn off the gas to the entire house? Thanks,Jamie 11 Jan 2003 at 12:03 am #298096 mikeinpaParticipant My advice to you for safety is to call someone qualified …. 13 Jan 2003 at 5:30 am #298097 SelgasParticipant Get a professional to do the job properly – remember a small gas leak can cause a large explosion !!!
