I have a 1999 UK direct gas central heating system. Both the how water & central heating work when programmed independently. When the programs overlap, the systems just pule on and off about once per second? The programmer is a Danfos FP715 and appears to be in order.
Has anyone seen this – do you know what might be wrong?

Given you are not a qualified gas man I suspect you would be better to go find a copy of the instruction manual for the controller then if all else fails get a Corgi Fitter to help ya.

Replacing the controller has fixed the problem. All for less than the call out charge for gas-fitter

Yep ya got away with it easy like this time but wait there will come a time when things are not so simple and you will need the services of someone like us!!!!!!!!!
Then and only then will you know why we charge what we do – it is the knowledge and skills we have that you are paying for – enjoy!!
