        I have converted my placeplace to gas. I am going to run a line from my furnace up to the fireplace. I plan on placing a valve by the furnace and another by the fireplace. I’m using tephlon tape on the threaded fittings. Is primer required on threaded gas pipe before taping?

              Whoa!!!!! Stop right there before you proceed………..I want to be added as a beneficiary to your estate.

              You obiously do not know what you are doing so why not give the job to an expert who will complete it so that it complies with all relevant safety codes and requirements and……..better still it will work when finished and NOT leak!!!
