My State Censible 510E waterheater Model PRV 50 NORT B 32 CEW is not providing hot water the way it has been since I bought this condo in 2000. For example, when I fill up my spa tub, Iturn on the just hot water which gets hot quickly but which also cools off so quickly, that by the time the tub is full, the water is just barely warm enough to use. Is it time for a new water heater? This one was manufactured in 1991.

Sounds like there is a buildup of sediment in bottom of WH. Open up drain and see if any water comes out, if it is EL. then take out bottom EL. and clean it out, turn off EL> and Water.

If you get some hot water but not as much as before and it is an electric heater then the bottom element is burned out or the thermostat that turns on the bottom element isn’t working properly. You should probably replace the water heater if it was installed in 1991. 15 yrs is old for an electric heater.
