Hello. In the mornings when we first use our bathrooms (affects all bathrooms in the apt), the pipes seem to bang or knock around for a few minutes—whether it’s when I flush the toilet, first turn on the shower, or use the sink. I think it is the drain pipes not the pipes supplying the water. Anyway, the noise goes away later, and doesn’t repeat during the day if any of the bathrooms are used. It doesnt’ appear to be air hammer, so what else can it be? Any suggestions.
        Thanks

If you have PVC drains and the holes for the pipe are tight the pipe will expand and make noise, not much to do with it unless you go into the walls and find where they are tight.
