While replacing a bathtub my husband broke thru a portion of the linen closet wall to get to the plumbing/tub. During that time (4-6 wks) our cats were (evidently) urinating in that area. Upon replacing the tub he covered the wall and now I can barely stand to open the linen closet door as the smell is absolutely horrendous. He can open up the wall again but what can we do to get rid of the odor? Is there a product available that’s strong enough to get rid of the stench? What steps do we take to fix the problem?
