        How do you test a double check backflow preventer?

          You hire a certified backflow tester (not all plumbers have this certification) and have the work done professionally. This is the requirement in the USA. Hope this helps.

            Even though the water runs backwards down here we still have to be endorsed to test Backflow devices in Oz.
