Is there another option for a shower surround around a window that is NOT tile? Our home is made of stone and the windowsill is about a foot deep. If we want to use some type of tileboard for the shower walls, how do we compensate for the windowsill and foot-deep bump in? Its like having a mini-bay window in the shower stall! I know with tile we could use the edge-tile or corner-tile pieces, but what is a non-tile solution? I can’t get rid of the window – the house is stone and it would be impossible to match on the exterior… any ideas? [email protected]
You could use a shower curtain on a rod .When you shower ,close the curtainfter you are done ,open the curtain. You should get a curtain with the little suction cups on the sides to make sure it stays closed.A quick fix,but it will work.
Why tile the stone wall ?? Why not just seal the stone and leave it as a feature ??
