        I need a new boiler.

        I have 18 average sized radiators, plus hot water for a family of 5.

        Approximately how many BTU’s should my boiler be?

          It should be sized big enough for the AVERAGE coldest day figuring the AVERAGE amount of insulation using the AVERAGE sized piping

          Based on the AVERAGE sized circulator Also considering the AVERAGE height of the ceiling and AVERAGE heat losses based on AVERAGE window sizes.

          Most importantly the AVERAGE temperature the AVERAGE person feels comfortable with.
