i have a combination boiler m44/54b. at present the central heating is operating but not the hot water. when you switch over to hot water only the boiler comes on but then shuts down. can anyone advise what is wrong and how to get it repaired

You sure the “M44/54” designation is’nt for the pump or something?? I can’t find anything on those model number in reference to boilers or furnaces from any manufacturer.
