        What is the proper pressure for the tank once the water pump is turned back on? Is it 28 PSI or 50 PSI with a 30/50 pressure switch? If water comes out of the air valve on the top, does that mean the tank is bad?

          If you have a tank with a rubber bladder and you get water out of the air valve, the tank is bad and needs replaced.

            the correct pressure setting is 2lbs. below the on setting.

              Steve, that tank is dead throw it out. Get a new expasion tank.
